Upcoming photo event at Bowman Hill Wildflower Preserve

There are lots of flowers, but there is also a tower which gives you a panoramic view of the area. The preserve is not far from Washington’s Crossing which also has a lot of old buildings.
From the website, the Bowman Hill Wildlife Preserve welcomes photography for personal use provided all parties remain on the trails; other guests are not inconvenienced; and park rules and regulations are followed.
Requests for professional photography and shoots for commercial & marketing purposes require advance permission, are subject to an additional fee, and will include recognition of BHWP location when published.
LVPC meeting tonight (June 21, 2012) at 7 pm at the Banana Factory. While no speaker is scheduled, the meeting is still important.
During the meeting:
- Ed Vatza, our Program Chair for the next year will discuss speakers and solicate feedback as to what type programs the membership desires.
- Additionally, Ajay Kathuria will update members on the soon to launch Open Photography Contest and Gallery showing at the Antonio Saleme Foundation.
- Ralph Richardson will update folks on ideas we have to make Foto Feedback a fresh new event for the upcoming year
- Rhonda Pagano, of our Activities Committee will review upcoming shoot opportunities.

This is a two day event at Whitehall Parkway. It is a photo shoot you will not want to miss. There is something going on all day long. Our club sets up their canopy by the entrance, so just look for a white canopy and people with great looking cameras.
