Update: Information for Jane’s Gallery Show “The Clothes They Came To Us In” at Studio B in Boyertown, PA can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/257095557784774
For our April meeting, being held on April 17th at 7pm at the Banana Factory, we will have speaker Jane Ammon. She will be speaking about a subject that many will be interested in – child photography.
Jane Ammon specializes in listening to and photographing children because she believes every child can be heard.
Through self discovery, trial and error, a lot of practice and using the skills she has gained as a certified speech therapist, Jane has learned how to communicate with children while photographing them…just as children communicate, with and without words.
In this presentation, Jane will share how she uses active listening to photograph children effectively as well as many of her tips and tricks to engage children during photography sessions. She will discuss her do’s, her don’ts and share some lessons (good and bad!) she has learned along the way.
