Delightful Dahlias
Photoshoot and Meet-up
Join fellow club members at Delightful Dahlias for a morning meetup to photograph these beautiful blooms. Dahlias come in many styles and colors and provide some of the garden's biggest and most spectacular blooms!
Shirlene Moser is affectionately know as the Dahlia Lady and can answer any questions you may have about growing or arranging dahlias. She began gardening as a child alongside her grandmother on the family farm. She later inherited the 1-1/2 acre farm where she and her husband now live and continue the dahlia tradition. They raise over 100 varieties of dahlias in four separate gardens!
Registration will be limited to 40 members.
Please follow signs for parking in the field below the farm.
Recommended gear: camera, macro lens, medium telephoto lens, diffuser, reflector, tripod, cable release for remote. flash (optional - glamps, color printed background sheets, wind screen, etc)
What to wear: comfortable clothes and walking shoes/boots.
Shirlene collects a $5.00 donation which she gives to the local food bank. You may also cut some dahlia blooms after shooting to take home with you for $5.00.
