Let's look at a variety of effects that can be applied to just about any genre. Jackie will show a plethora of techniques to explore in an effort to push past the boredom of shooting the same subject the same way. She will share some techniques that she employs on her flowers and how to apply some of these techniques to other subjects, such as wildlife, landscapes, and portraits. 

Jackie will walk us through a demonstration of processing member images submitted in advance. Click the button below to submit your image for consideration . Submit a jpeg, 1400 pixels on the long side and a resolution of 90 ppi.  The subject can be anything in nature, except flowers, and should stand out from the background. The submitted image is to be straight out of camera, no editing. Two or three of the submitted images will be selected for Jackie to work on during the meeting.

Biography:
Jackie Kramer has been photographing the natural world, with an emphasis on birds and flowers, since high school. She is known for her artistic flair and use of color in her floral images. Jackie is a KelbyOne instructor and a Lensbaby Ambassador. She has received numerous international awards for her photography and her work has appeared in various magazines and online publications. Jackie’s overarching goal is to use the medium of photography to enrich others and build relationships through her online community, Phlorography – Artistic Floral Photography, which has thousands of members from around the world. She enjoys sharing her knowledge in workshops both in person and online.
