What is this?
Photographers create images using light. Light creates the highlights, shadows, texture, color, and dimension in our photographs. When we use supplemental lighting in the creation of images, we more fully enable our creativity and art. This interest group will address our successes and challenges in using photographic lighting. This topic includes both the technical and artistic aspects of using continuous lights (like LEDs and reflectors of sunlight) and strobic light (including speedlights and studio strobes).
